The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, also known as Toledo Cathedral, is a magnificent example of High Gothic architecture. The cathedral's design was inspired by the Bourges Cathedral and is noted for its impressive incorporation of light and structural achievements, particularly in the ambulatory vaults. It is built with white limestone from the quarries of Olihuelas, near Toledo, and is renowned for its Mozarabic Chapel, which still uses the Hispano-Mozarabic Rite and music.
