wat ratchaburana
Wat Ratchaburana is a significant Buddhist temple located in the Ayutthaya Historical Park in Thailand. Founded in 1424 by King Borommarachathirat II, it was built on the cremation site of his two elder brothers who died in a duel for the royal succession. The temple is renowned for its main prang, considered one of the finest in the city, and for its crypt which houses rare frescoes from the early Ayutthaya period. These historical and artistic treasures reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.
