Koto City, known in Japanese as Kōtō-ku, is a special ward located in the eastern part of Tokyo, Japan. It is a vibrant area with a rich history and a population of approximately 524,310 as of October 2020. The ward is characterized by its waterfront location, bordered by the Sumida River to the west and the Arakawa River to the east, and includes diverse districts such as Kameido and Toyosu.
