Ivindo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Gabon, recognized in 2021, is a rainforest reserve in the country’s northeast, celebrated for its pristine biodiversity and dramatic landscapes. Home to rare species like forest elephants, western lowland gorillas, and the endangered slender-snouted crocodile, it features the stunning Kongou and Djidji waterfalls within the Ivindo River basin.
