The Coral Reefs in the Gulf of Aqaba, represent one of the northernmost and most resilient coral ecosystems in the world, thriving in high-salinity and variable temperature conditions. These fringing reefs host exceptional marine biodiversity, including over 265 coral species and numerous endemic and endangered taxa, serving as vital habitats while demonstrating remarkable adaptation to environmental stressors.
