The Viking-Age Ring Fortresses, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Denmark, consist of five circular fortifications—Aggersborg, Fyrkat, Nonnebakken, Trelleborg, and Borgring—built around 975-980 CE under King Harald Bluetooth.
