The Churches of Moldavia, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Romania, are renowned for their unique 15th and 16th-century architecture and vibrant exterior frescoes. These eight Orthodox churches, built under the patronage of Stephen the Great and his successors, blend Byzantine influences with local Gothic and Renaissance elements, showcasing exceptional artistry.
