saltillo
Saltillo is the capital and largest city of the northeastern Mexican state of Coahuila. Founded in 1577, it features a well-preserved colonial heritage, highlighted by its 18th-century cathedral, along with notable museums and traditional crafts such as sarapes and ceramic tiles. Today, it serves as a major industrial and manufacturing hub, often called Mexico's "mini-Detroit", producing automobiles, machinery, and other goods, while benefiting from a cool, dry highland climate at around 1,600 meters elevation
